Common Questions
Do I need to provide training data?
Usually no. Most of what I build uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) — the AI reads your actual documents or data sources at query time. No model training required.
What AI models do you use?
Primarily Claude (Anthropic) for reasoning and generation, and Voyage AI for embeddings and search. I pick the model that fits the task, not the hype cycle.
Will it hallucinate?
RAG-based systems answer from your actual data with source citations. I design systems to minimize hallucination — and to tell users when they don't know something rather than making it up.
Do I own the code?
100%. You get the full source code, the repo, and the infrastructure. No vendor lock-in.
